WHAT IS FLINCHLOCK?
This occurs when a bone takes a surprise direct hit and absorbs the pressure. This Impact pressure then becomes that bones working pressure. Ligaments and tendons that grow from the pressurised bone naturally equalise, resulting in shortened, harder ligaments, tendons, and Muscle Fascia. This in time can affect the body, organs, and systems, and manifests itself in any number of ways.
When you release a flinchlocked bone, it is painless and safe. At no time should the K9 feel any discomfort. Once released, there is an immediate shift in balance followed by an involuntary expanding and lengthening of ligaments and tissue. As the tissue expands, blood and lymph start to move, creating a warm sensation in the worked area. As the pressure drops, it naturally reorganises its integrity.

How did I come about learning K9 Flinchlock
My journey with Contact Care Flinchlock began when my dog, Jessy, was struggling to walk on her back leg. Despite multiple vet visits, x-rays, and medication, nothing helped. As a last resort before a costly specialist appointment, I took her to Lisa Bishop. After just one session, Jessy walked out without a limp—pain-free and happy.
I was amazed by the instant results and deeply moved by how effective the treatment was—not just for dogs, but for people too. Inspired, I joined my first Human course in early 2022, and since then, became NZ first official K9 practitioner.
